About Archusa
Archusa Creek Water Park sits just off Highway 45 and Highway 18 East near Quitman in Clarke County, built around a 450-acre lake known for bass, catfish, perch, and bream fishing.
The lake supports boating, water-skiing, and swimming, and the grounds include picnic pavilions with equipment, a Dixie Youth baseball field, a disc golf course, a playground, and a half-mile nature trail. Overnight guests can choose from reserved RV sites, primitive tent camping, A-Frame cabins, and bungalows, with a Lodge Hall and shelters available for reunions and group events.
Each July 4th, Archusa hosts one of the district's two fireworks displays — one of the busiest weekends of the year, so reserve early.
