Turkey Creek Water Park is conveniently located just five miles southwest of Decatur, off Highway 15 in Newton County. Open year-round, the park welcomes visitors to its beautiful 250-acre lake—one of the region’s premier water skiing destinations, renowned for excellent bass fishing and convenient john boat and kayak rentals. We invite you to experience the fun and relaxation that await at Turkey Creek Water Park. On shore, guests can enjoy a scenic picnic area, a vibrant playground, and lakeside campsites. Comfortable A-Frame cabins, a charming bungalow, and a spacious Lodge Hall and open pavilion are available for group gatherings and special occasions. Picturesque hiking and multi-use trails meander through the woods, where wildflowers bloom and wildlife such as deer, squirrels, ducks, and wild turkeys are often spotted. Operation is limited to designated areas and must comply with all park and state regulations.
Pat Harrison Waterway District complies with all applicable Mississippi firearm laws.
Pat Harrison Waterway District is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property brought into the parks, cabins, campsites, or other District facilities.
