Big Creek Water Park is located between Laurel and Collins off Highway 84, near Soso in Jones County, inviting exploration and discovery for outdoor enthusiasts.
The park offers reserved RV sites and primitive camping, the only public swimming area in Jones County, a swimming beach, picnic areas with grills and tables, aluminum boat and kayak rentals, and a dedicated horse trail. Overnight lodging includes A-Frame cabins, bungalows, and a Lodge Hall for group gatherings.
Big Creek also carries a piece of Mississippi history in its cemetery of the area's early settlers, inspiring pride and curiosity about the past.
Also, Big Creek is located only 13 miles from the popular “Hometown”
